Note;  James Egbert Forbus died 7 March 1961 at the age of 82 in Carrizo Springs Texas, he is buried

          in Mount Mount Hope Cemetery

 

          Emma Lavata Gardner died in 1966 at the age of 81, she is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery Carrizo Springs Texas.

not wish to serve they could pay for a substitute to enter Confederate Service for them.  William

Forbus died of disease 1862.

Jerry Owen Forbus Enlisted In The U.S. Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Oriskany during the Viet Nam War. 

After his tour of duty in Viet Nam he was home ported at San Diego California where he served on the Guided

Missle Destroyer U.S.S. King.
